What We Accept

After Aisle is a vetted, editorial marketplace. Every listing is reviewed by our team before it goes live. We only accept items that meet our condition and aesthetic standards.

Good

Used multiple times. Light wear consistent with use (small scuffs, minor patina). Any imperfections must be clearly photographed and disclosed in the listing description.

Listing Details — Required Fields

Every listing must include accurate packaged dimensions and weight before submission. This is how shipping costs are calculated automatically for buyers at checkout — missing or inaccurate measurements will generate incorrect shipping estimates, which creates a poor buyer experience and potential disputes.

If your item is best suited for local pickup — arch frames and large structures in particular, or if you don't want to deal with shipping — note this in your listing description. Local pickup eliminates shipping costs for the buyer entirely.

Photo Requirements

Great photography is the single most important factor in selling your items. After Aisle is an editorial marketplace — your photos should reflect that.

Photography Tips

How to Pack Your Items

Sellers are responsible for all packaging. Items that arrive damaged due to poor packaging are the seller's liability. Follow these standards to protect yourself and your buyer.

General Rules

By Item Type

Arch Frames & Large Structures

Disassemble completely. Wrap each component individually in bubble wrap. Use a heavy-duty double-walled box or PVC pipe carriers. Include all hardware and assembly instructions if available. Note: Due to their size and fragility, arch frames and large structures are often best sold as local pickup. We encourage sellers to consider this option when listing.

Candle Holders & Glass Items

Wrap each piece in a minimum of 3 layers of bubble wrap. Double-box with packing peanuts or foam fill between boxes. Mark the outer box "FRAGILE" on all sides.

Linens & Fabric Items

Fold neatly and place in a sealed plastic bag before boxing. This protects against moisture during transit. No need for bubble wrap — focus on keeping clean and dry.

Tabletop (Chargers, Glassware, Flatware)

Wrap each piece individually. Stack plates with cardboard dividers. Use cell kits (divided boxes) for glassware when possible. Double-box.

Signage Frames & Easels

Disassemble if possible. Wrap corners and edges with extra bubble wrap — these are the most vulnerable points. Use a flat box sized to the frame; avoid rolling or forcing into undersized packaging.

Pro tip: Take a photo of your packed item before sealing the box. This protects you in any damage dispute — proof that the item was properly packaged at the time of shipment.

Outcome Scenarios

Item not as described

If the item significantly differs from the listing (wrong item, undisclosed damage, wrong condition tier), the buyer receives a full refund. This amount is deducted from your payout. The buyer returns the item at your expense.

Damage due to poor packaging

If photos indicate inadequate packaging caused the damage, the seller is responsible for a partial or full refund at After Aisle's discretion.

Carrier damage (insured item)

After Aisle will assist both parties in filing a carrier insurance claim. Funds remain in escrow during the claims process.

Carrier damage (uninsured item)

Seller bears financial responsibility. This is why insurance is required on items over $200.

Dispute not resolved in seller's favor (repeat)

Two unresolved disputes within 90 days will result in a review of your seller account. Three may result in removal from the platform.

Our goal is always a fair resolution. After Aisle mediates every dispute personally — you will always speak to a real person, not a bot. Reach out to afteraisle@gmail.com at any time.
